I get it. Swag means to be arrogant and insolent and boastful but God DAMN. How many times do I need to hear I got my swag on or Swagga like us.

 Lets make it clear Swag really means getting valuable goods like how stars would get swag bags at award shows or goods obtained illegally.

I honestly do not have a problem with the RAP pack ( Jay Z, Kanye West , T I and Lil Wayne) Swagga like us cause we all know their backgrounds and how they came up in the game. What basically put the nail in the grave for SWAG is is Soulja Boy song ” Get my swag on” Who actually said this was a hit? I know the young kids love it but honestly that whole song is that word and YEAH YEAH. Give me a long personal break.  I think its time to find a new word people to tell people you arrogant, insolent or what have you cause SWAG is getting played out.

Today’s topic comes because one of my friends is not happy because he saw the truth coming. He is beating himself up because the girl he likes has yet to accept that the dude she likes treats her like crap. My friend is suffering because he hates being the voice of reason.

Unfortunately, we can’t stop people’s emotional trainwrecks. If they ask us for advice, just give it truthfully and then let it go. People don’t listen and they have to experience things for themselves. It is just like when we are growing up and your parents warned you but it is our destiny as humans to experience things for ourselves.

My Heart goes out to him because he really does not want her to get hurt and she is realizing she is missing out on a great guy but can’t let the loser go. To each his own.

I just hope things may turn out different but as of now, it seems to be going to be the status quo

Hi All. Welcome back to NIkki’s corner. My apologies for not posting for a few months but my life has been extremely stressful. This topic comes rom the heart because I swear I am caught in a vortex of insecure and spiteful people. I have never experienced in my whole life working for Sybil. If you don’t know who Sybil is, Sybil was a woman who was diagnosed with multiple personality disorder which means at any given minute she can go from nice to bitch in less than 30 secs. In Sybil’s case, she has a mental problem. In my case I don’t know if my bosses do, but Honestly I don’t care. You can’t treat people like garbage, yell at them in front of other people and then expect things to be ok. You wont have people respecting you and its not people will be afraid of you, they just will not care about you. While you sit atop your perch and just look down always stating, I’m the boss I’m the manager, maybe you should step back and realize you were in your staff’s shoes once. What I am slowly beginning to realize it that people are not fully trained to actually be managers. They just get promoted just depending on how well they may have done at their jobs or if somebody just liked them. I think my boss does not like me anymore but she set the tone for my behavior. I do my job but I could care less what happens to her. This is the mood I usually assume when I am tired of dealing with other people’s BS. You have to shut yourself down and just roll with it. If you dont, you will always let it eat at you. This is also one of the reasons why I blog. Helps get it off my chest. As for this current situation, im leaving it in God’s hands and when my time to go, it will present itself. Right now, im just annoyed but soon it will turn to not caring.

Sometimes things may come up which can upset us or hurt our feelings and in this day and age we have information thrown at us at any given moment. Our nerves get bad and then when something else happens, we kinda get pushed over the proverbial edge. This can sometimes cause us to do or say things we mean to keep in our heads but we express it verbally or written and it can turn into something that is extremely unneccesary.  When you feel yourself about to get fried mentally…. excuse yourself and take a breather. Fuck it.. take a day if you need too. When we over react, we will start a chain reaction that can be unrepairable and sometimes we can lose people  for the self inflicted drama we bring upon ourselves.

Hi All. Welcome back to Nikki’s Corner. This topic comes from various situations I am dealing with as well as heard about.

Ever been in a situations where no matter what you do it was never right? Whether you decided to speak up or not say anything and get yelled at later? Those situations suck big ass and hopefully life doesn’t decide to give you too many at once.  There is no easy fix. Its like a hurricane or a tornado. You just need to ride it out and pray that it will get better. Life is a balance and sometimes if you think things are not going too right for you, its because it wasn’t meant to at the moment.  It will balance itself out. Just try and enjoy the moments in your life when times are quiet. When you are caught between a rock and a hard place, just make sure you are honest and truthful  and you should come out relatively unscathed.

Hi All and Welcome back to Nikki’s corner. Are you the Jealous type?  Do you get green eyed monster when someone has something or someone you want?  If so, this topic is just for you. It is part of human nature to be jealous at least sometimes.  But when you are jealous all the time, you should seek help. I am not joking. It is extremely unhealthy to be jealous all the time.  It means you are completely disatisfied with your life and you always very angry. Who wants to be angry all the time? You know how much energy you expend being jealous and angry. Looking at your friends and never being happy for them cause you wish it was happening to you.  If this is you, your existence is truly a sorry one and I wish you the best of luck. I really don’t have advice for this because you probably won’t listen anyway and you probably jealous I’m writing a blog.  You jealous types need mental help and good dose of self confidence. That will help you immensely.

Hi All and Welcome back to Nikki’s corner. I’m on fire tonight. The juices are flowing and I am going with it. Now I know the Alien image is a lil extreme but it works for the topic. Alot of times people think they know who they are dealing with. Truth of the matter is we don’t. Human nature is a complex animal that only shows it true colors when someones life is on the line. Survival of the fittest.  But how can you say you will know what someone will do. Depending on the situation, someone may leave you in the lurch and that is that. We would hope someone would save us like in the movies but remember most people will do what will satisfy for them or will help them in some way. Now before someone says, we are not all like that just think of a time when a situation presented itself and you had a quick thought of ” how will this benefit me?” Made you think huh? All people have a level of selfishness some just have it more than others. Usually those who are selfless , have given themselves up to a greater good.  My advice when dealing with people is treating people with respect and trying to learn them and don’t ever take anyone for granted. Those are usually the ones that when they have been beaten down too many times, will turn on you like a rat in a corner and your ass will get bit.

Hi all and Welcome back to Nikki’s Corner. This topic is one I’m sure all of us have experienced in our lives. We sometimes think we can’t differentiate between love and lust but you can. Lust is primal and love is not. Lust awakens your loins and makes you do shit you may have to explain to someone or yourself later. Love is a series of emotions that facilitate caring and sharing for individuals. Love comes in many forms (family, friends, Boyfriend, girlfriend, Husband , wife). Lust has one form. Pure sexual energy that must be satisfied and fulfilled. These lil definitions should at least help you figure out the traits. Now I can say with all honestly, I love and lust for my hubby at the same time. I love him for what he is and and what he does to make himself a better person but I lust for him at any given time because  I am a sexual being and he fulfills my needs. 

As humans, we see people who with lust for and that usually how you judge who you deal with cause you can only really judge on what you see especially if you have not had a conversation with them yet. As for those they say, they have had love at first sight, I don’t all the way discount it because that is possible but believe there is a hint of lust in there.  Humans lust for others all the time. Think about who in Hollywood you wish was yours, the guy or girl you work with who find extremely attractive. Lusting is natural and healthy. It only becomes unhealthy if you are supposed to be in love, yet you let lust cause you to cheat and until the day they start putting P*&%Y and Dick in the streets where people can just fall on them and start f&^king, nothing just happens. People are too thinking and too calculating for that. Try those excuses on someone with a kindergarten education cause Kids are getting smarter these days.  I think now everyone has a clear understanding of love and lust, Right?

Hi All. Welcome back to Nikki’s Corner.  I am making up for last time. Communication has become a lost art.  Now communication comes in many forms but it seems today people prefer text messaging and emails rather than actually communicating face to face. Now , I can say I have fallen into the trap. I mean hell I am a blogger aint I? Im writing to people who surf the net and stating my opinions. I do however, unplug from the matrix and actually to have conversations with people.  I have a Nintendo DS game called brain age to help train my brain. The Lil Doctor on there  states that communication helps activate the prefrontal cortex of your Brain.  So why are we so afraid to talk to people? Cause I think people have become so PC and so afraid that the world is going to sue them, they can’t speak there mind.  People can tell off people behind screens  and IMing hostile messages having BS flame wars online knowing that you have the safety of being behind a screen. But what times have showed us as of late is that , some people aren’t protected. ie Megan Meier. How is it that cyber bullying has become this thing that causes people to take their own lives ? Why do we now need laws to protect us from assholes who are fucking chickens. Yes I cussed because it annoys me.  These days we have become a nation of scared people and stuck in the matrix. People, talk to everyone, especially your family and your friends. Where was Megan’s mother and why wasn’t their relationship strong enough where her mom could have avoided this tragedy but I digress.
