The “New” Dating ritual

Hey All. I know long time no write. I gotta get better at keeping up with this blog since I write 2 of them.

 

 

This topic comes from my girl Meka about getting rid of the old date ritual of going to the movies.  She says:

“would like to go to the opera or the symphony, just something

 different than “want to go to the movies”. Lovely gesture, but

still too pedestrian for me”

Now Lady Meka bring up a valid point. 

With all the wonderful cultural events major cities have to offer, how come its always wanna go to the movies. 

 I understand for first dates maybe you don’t want to overwhelm your date with opera or symphony, but what about a play your friend is in or a

 musician playing at your favorite bar.  Movies seems like a great convenience because its easy but when has dating ever been easy. You still

 have to worry about whether they will like the movie and make sure you didn’t waste your dough on a horrible movie. You will still need to

worry about that wherever you may go, but suggesting something different than the movies shows how thoughtful you are . 

We all know dating is about impressing someone so why not be a lil thoughtful when going out. You may find it will win you somebrownie points in the long run.
